Her passion for Media and Communication started very early in her life. throughout High school, Monica took many Television and Radio classes and at the age of 16 Monica participated in Univision Generaciones 23 and achieved being in the Top 5 youth news anchors in Miami. Monica started in a small talk show, Buzz and Beats, as an on Air Personality, on 89.1 WBCX in Gainesville, Ga; While she went to school for Mass Communication in TV and Radio at Brenau University. She Later moved to South Carolina where she worked as On Air-Personality Friday nights Show for 94.9FM. In 2016 she started working in the Promotions Department as a Representative for Entercom Radio in Greenville, SC. Entercom radio is the second largest radio company in the United States, owning 235 radio station in which, Monica worked with the following seven stations, 101.1 Classic Rock, The B93.7, 93.3 Planet Rocks, ESPN Upstate, 106.3 Word, 96.3 The Block, and Magic 98.9

Monica also has experience in television as a reporter for small, internet media channel, INTV. INTV Grew and became Contacto TeVe Broadcasting in several media platforms such as Roku, chromecast, youtube, and Facebook. At Contacto TeVe Monica worked as a TV Anchor and Reporter. Before the end of her journey with Contacto Teve Monica was promoted as Chief Operating Officer. Now Monica is honored to be part of Poder 102.9 as a Sports Radio Personality for Deporte Total.

Another of Monica?s Greatest passion is Futbol. She has played Soccer since the age of 6. Monica has played for multiple clubs in the United States and Colombia such as Sunrise F.C, Boca Rat?n F.C, Miami Strikers, Palmira F.C. and el Valle F.C. One of her biggest accomplishments in soccer has been to play for the National Team of Colombia U20 and participated in the 2014 Qualifiers of the Women’s World Cup in Montevideo, Uruguay. She also received a Full Ride Soccer Scholarship to attend Brenau University. She has continued her love for soccer as a soccer coach currently for Powdersville high school and CESA in Greenville. Monica also has experience in photography and published some of her photos in The Elixir.
